David Bearman MD, Physician
Dr. Bearman received his MD degree from the University of Washington in 1967 and completed a rotating internship at the
Seattle USPHS Hospital. He has practiced primary care medicine and addiction medicine in the past. Currently
he is specializing in pain management and cannabinoid medicine.

In his autobiography, It Ain't Easy Being Me, Rodney revealed
that he had obtained his Prop. 215 approval from Dr. Bearman.
At the April 2006 Patients Out of Time Conference,
his widow,
Joan Dangerfield shared stories about the benefit Rodney obtained from
medicinal cannabis and her role in urging him to utilize
the protection afforded by the medicinal cannabis law.
